Park Hopping

We weren't sure if Mike would have to work on Presidents day or not, but on Friday we learned that he would have Monday off, so we took a little trip to Santa Barbara and Solvang. It is so great to be completely removed from LA, but only have to drive an hour to do so.

The first park that we found was in Solvang. It is all new with a colorful wooden castle-themed play structure. It also had a play house, wagon, viking ship, theater, and so much more. Solvang is kinda out there, but if you ever find yourself there with kids, this park is a MUST!!

We also went to see a miniature horse farm

And Finally we hit a great park on Santa Barbara on our way home. Mom and Dad were TIRED, but the kids had fun on our trip :)

Tyler Turns 2

So, my baby is no longer a baby, it is so hard to believe that he is 2! We had a pretty low-key day. Grandma Muir gave Tyler a new outfit which he was so excited to wear.

We had some cake, and went to the LA Zoo, and then to Griffith Park for a train ride. When we got home we made pizza, and just had a good family day!
